Nikanti Golf Club
PublicNakhon Pathom · Central
Stands out for its All-Inclusive concept, where the green fee covers golf cart, caddie, food, and drinks. The course is well maintained and sits not far to the west of Bangkok.
Overview
Nikanti Golf Club is a par-72 course in Nakhon Pathom province, designed by Thai architect Piraporn Namatra on land that was once rice fields. What sets it apart is a layout built as three loops of six holes each, with every loop containing an equal mix of two par 3s, two par 4s, and two par 5s. Although the site is flat, the designer created mounding and fairway elevation changes that give the course more dimension than you might expect.
Highlights & Signature Holes
- Many greens are distinctly undulating and run fast, especially on downhill putts, so reading the line carefully is essential.
- Water comes into play on several holes, particularly among the par 5s.
- The 18th, a par 4, is a challenging closing hole with water flanking both sides and a narrow approach to the green.
- The course is known for its well-trained caddies, who help with wind direction, shot angles, and reading the greens.
Who it suits
Ideal for golfers who want a premium-quality course with full-service amenities, whether serious players out for a proper round or tourists looking for a complete all-inclusive day (the green fee includes a buffet and a GPS golf cart).
Before you go
The course is about 35 km west of Bangkok, roughly a 45-minute drive, making it convenient for a there-and-back day trip. The most comfortable time to play is the cool season (November–February), and it is worth booking your tee time in advance as this is a popular course.
