The Tour V7 Shift is the model Bushnell placed below the Pro X3 family — USD 399.99 list against USD 599.99 for the Pro X3+ LINK. So the useful question is not whether it costs less, but what got left out and whether you will miss it.

What did not get left out is the part you use on every hole. PinSeeker with Visual JOLT is here in full. The manual explains it plainly: when the beam sees more than one object, only the nearest distance is displayed, then JOLT gives two short bursts of vibration and a red ring lights up around the edge of the display to confirm the lock. Several model comparisons get this wrong — including an older post on this site — and treat Visual JOLT as a Pro X3 exclusive.

The genuinely new part is the dual-colour OLED. Line-of-sight distance reads in red; the slope-compensated number, which Bushnell calls PlayAs, reads in green. The manual’s own example is 160 yards of true distance on a +6% uphill, which plays as 168. Splitting them by colour means you are not reading two rows and working out which is which. The Slope-Switch slides off for competition, and Range Recall covers the ordinary case of ranging a target and then walking back to the cart — one press of the Mode button and the number is back.

The feature to read carefully is MyBag/LINK, the Foresight Sports collaboration. It is not something you unbox and use. Per the manual you need a Bushnell Golf app account, a Foresight app account, and access to a Bushnell Launch Pro or Foresight launch monitor to hit shots and build your personal club set before any of that data comes back to the laser’s display. If you do not own a launch monitor and do not plan to, take this off your list of reasons to buy.

The point worth weighing hardest in Thailand is that this is IPX6, not IPX7. The manual states the rangefinder is water resistant but should not be exposed to heavy rain or direct streams of water, and will not withstand submersion. In a monsoon downpour that gap between IPX6 and the Pro X3+ LINK’s IPX7 is not just a number on a page.

Specs we could not source: Bushnell publishes no battery life for this model — there is only a level indicator in the display — and no separate maximum flag-lock range apart from the 1,300-yard overall figure. The official product page does carry a paragraph mentioning 600+ yards to flags, but the text of that paragraph is explicitly about the Pro X3+, so we read it as leftover copy and do not treat it as a V7 Shift spec. Weight also appears as two different numbers in Bushnell’s own material: 9 oz on the product page, 8.7 oz (246 g) in the manual. We use the manual’s, as the more precise of the two.

Buy this if you want JOLT flag confirmation and a slope switch you can turn off for competition, without paying roughly USD 200 more for wind data and Slope with Elements. Skip it if you regularly play through monsoon rain (IPX6 is not enough), if you play at altitude or in swinging temperatures and want Elements-level compensation, or if the club recommendations are what sold you and you do not own a Foresight launch monitor.

On price: the US product page lists USD 399.99 and Bushnell Golf Europe lists EUR 399.00 — both brand-owned sites, checked 6 August 2026. In Thailand the distributor is Winner Magic Asia, which runs a Facebook page with no published price, and the citable Thai golf retailers gmall24.golfchannel.co.th and hotgolfclub.com return nothing for this model, only the Tour V6 Shift. So this page carries no baht figure and no score — our scoring method weighs specs against the price a model actually sells for in Thailand. We will update it when there is a source to point to.
